BrainBusters started as a personal collection. I’ve been fascinated by the way a good puzzle can stop your brain mid-stride — make you certain you know the answer, then pull the rug out completely. I started building this site in 2006 because most of what existed online was either too easy to be interesting or too unexplained to be satisfying. A riddle without a proper answer walkthrough is just a trick. What actually builds sharper thinking is understanding why you got it wrong — or right.
